New Staff Joins EcoGreenHotel Consulting
ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. – EcoGreenHotel President Scott Parisi today announced the appointments of two new staff members. Jeff Kiec will serve as the company’s Sustainability Project Manager, and Bob Ryan as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“I am delighted to welcome these two talented individuals to the EcoGreenHotel team,” Parisi said. “Jeff and Bob both bring fresh perspectives and an abundance of experience to our company and to the green hospitality industry as a whole.”
Jeff Kiec is a veteran in the environmental service industry. His experience includes engineering building assessments, building and operational sustainability audits, and environmental site assessments. He has project experience in a range of property types including industrial, multi-family residential and commercial.
As Sustainability Director for Deep Ellum, a historic arts and entertainment neighborhood in Dallas, Kiec is responsible for educating and working with neighborhood businesses and property owners to incorporate sustainable building technologies.

National green hospitality experts to speak at upcoming global summit
ARDSLEY-ON-HUDSON, N.Y., March 24, 2009 – Organizers of the 1st Annual Global Renewable Energy Networking Summit have announced that several of the country’s top leaders in the green hospitality industry have accepted invitations to speak and participate in discussion panels at the upcoming three-day event.
Executive chairperson Clare Misquitta and event organizers confirmed that Scott Parisi, president of EcoGreenHotel and John Grillo, president of National Energy Services Co., will co-deliver a keynote address at the summit, which is being convened April 15 – 17 at the Bear Creek Mountain Resort and Conference Center in Macungie, PA.
“We are delighted that Scott and John have accepted our invitation to speak at the Summit,” Misquitta said. “Their presentation will offer a rare opportunity for hospitality professionals to learn about their trend-setting strategies for implementing meaningful green initiatives in lodging facilities across the spectrum – from mom-and-pop motels to major luxury chains.”
Parisi is an eco hotel consultant who conducts audits of hotel buildings and operations, and creates custom plans for properties to develop and implement environmental management systems. He hosts on-site workshops and staff training and also guides facilities through the LEED certification process. His company, EcoGreenHotel, is a resource designed for green hospitality professionals to learn about the latest industry news, products and services.

EcoGreenHotel member’s new laundry technology passes stringent test
A revolutionary laundry system developed by an EcoGreenHotel member company is making a big splash in hotel laundry rooms across the country.
In fact, New Jersey-based National Energy Services Company’s (NES) Ozone Laundry
System has reduced one New York hotel’s annual carbon emissions by a startling 240,000
pounds.
The Columbia Sussex Corporation’s Melville Marriott Hotel on Long Island recently
reported the reduction, along with high praise for the way the NES team handled the
installation.
Scott P. Cooney, financial compliance analyst for Columbia Sussex Corporation, said that
